As we hurdle towards Amsterdam Cocktail Week, we launch our March Menu, one with an important message and event attached!

”Maart roert zijn staart” is the Dutch saying that March marks the first signs of spring. No definite sunshine yet, but the first flowers start moving.

Prosecco-Perfect
This month we partnered up with Torresella Prosecco, a renowned wine and prosecco producer located in the Veneto region. They make quality, sustainable Prosecco from its mineral-rich soil. And it shows! Whether it’s by the glass, bottle, or in our cocktails, they stand the test. Our team pairs this Italian quality product with Dutch flair -or is it the other way around?- with drinks combining Dutch Cacao, genever and lots more in our specials.

On hallowed ground
This month we also visit the genever museum in Schiedam. Expect us to return with loads more geeky knowledge, PLUS we never leave their well-stocked liquor store empty-handed.

What’s in a Unit?
Our March menu also highlights One Unit. An important initiative to give insight to the amount of alcohol in a cocktail. To that end, all our drinks on htis menu contain exactly One Unit of alcohol, comparable to a beer, or a glass of wine. This initiative culminates at an event held at our bar for bartenders on the 9th of March, to inspire other bars and professionals to consider including alcoholic intake on their menus. Plus, there is a One Unit cocktail competition as well, that will be holding its final at this year’s Perfect Serve Barshow Amsterdam, taking place 8 & 9 September for the 12th time.

More Royalty
This month also welcomes National Champion of bartending, Jorit Frijling for a guest shift and masterclass. As a true guru of garnish he will guide those present to the secrets of the art of producing show-stopping details. In the evening, we will be seeing more of him as he does a guest shift at the bar 8 PM onwards featuring ONLY his award-winning cocktails. What a treat!

But wait...
On the 18th of March we have another award winning bartender. This time it is the Hague’s freshly crowned best, Theo, showing us his best drinks starting at 8 PM.

Shaking up the city
And that brings us to the Seventh edition of Amsterdam Cocktail Week. As one of the twenty-three best of the best of locations we are proud to share our creations, PLUS a host of four events during this fun-filled, city wide tour-de-force. Expect more tastings, more specials, and most of all, more extra free goodies for all of our guests. Be keen to watch our space, or the city maps dropping soon.
